Vancouver's YVR is the Top Airport in North America!

Skytrax World Airport Awards were announced in Brussels and YVR, the Vancouver International Airport, came out on top as the best in North America. This is up from 3rd in 2009. Overall, YVR placed 11th in the world, which is pretty darn impressive.

The world's top 20 rankings in the World Airport Awards for 2010:

Well, all I can say is that they were instrumental in the success of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games when it came to the arrivals and departures of all athletes, media, dignitaries, corporate groups and tourists! Congratulations YVR.
