Our Events Team loves building brand relevant and destination authentic group experiences, sometimes we like to play a little. This week we had fun with two ideas: 

1. Avatar Corporate Event
2. CanadaLand Olympic Wrap Up

For our Avatar event concept, we created a world without the Navi actually among us. Although a possibility to include them, we focused more on our human guests and what it might feel like to:

• Start with your reception in a clean and sterile lab, before...
• Moving along and crossing a tree bridge, where certain steps cause the plants around you to light into life, and then...
• Dinner in a naturally resplendent forested setting.
  

The other idea we are about to bring to life is for our very own “Cantrav thanks you in CanadaLand” event. We can’t give away all the secrets before George sees how we have brought to life his idea to carry over the Big Campy Canadiana that the world experienced at the Closing Ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.  

Suffice it to say that:

• It might start with the omnipresent Inukshuk
• We'll definitely celebrate George's fantastic torch run in Agassiz
• When it comes time to “pin the antlers on the moose”...all bets are off!
